SmartCella Update
This week, SmartCella joined Minister for Migration Johan Forssell on a high-level Swedish government delegation visit to Boston, US, together with representatives from six leading Swedish universities and higher education institutions. SmartCella represented the Swedish business sector through Chairperson and founder Christian Kinch.

With an exceptionally well-curated agenda, the delegation focused on building bridges between research, education and business, as well as exploring new opportunities for collaboration and international knowledge exchange. The program included engagements with world-class institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard University, as well as meetings with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Kennedy Square Association, Innovation Centre Denmark, and the Langer Lab. The delegation also had the opportunity to connect with the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce New England for discussions with Swedish companies and their research activities.

“Boston is such an inspiring and innovative environment, and this trip reminded me how strong Sweden’s reputation is as a science and research nation. For SmartCella, operating at the intersection of business and advanced research, the trip sparked valuable conversations and opened up new potential collaboration paths in the US. It was a privilege to represent the Swedish business community as part of this delegation,” says Christian Kinch, SmartCella’s Chairperson.
